It's Quad time!

We got a barbie quad from my sister, and all it needed was a battery. Well since we got it our kids love going in the backyard and riding around on it. It is so cute to see and I am glad that we have it, it makes the backyard a little more fun!

3 Joys: 1. My children and to the fact that I think they are just really special!
2. The fact that I have a wonderful husband and know that he is a blessing in my life!
3. The joy of having a testimony of the gospel and feeling the spirit in my life

3 fears: 1. Losing any one of my children that would be devastating
2. Losing my husband, I would be lost
3. Not being there for my children, I want to be the one to raise them.

3 goals: 1. having my children grow up with a testimony of the gospel
2. Being able to go back and substitute teach someday
3. Going on a trip to Europe with my husband someday

3 current Obsessions: 1. I am obsessed with reading lately! I just can not get enough of any book.
2. I am obsessed with taking pictures, I love my camera!
3. I am obsessed with email, I check it so many times in the day it is probably not healthy!

3 random surprising facts: 1. I am a closet yard sales person, I love them but I don't go to them!
2. I love pride and Prejudice.
3. I cry in any kind of sad movie, just ask my husband!

It's Raining in August!

Danny loved getting wet and actually getting to play in the rain while wearing clothes!

It actually rained in August, no it poured! We could not believe it, we had to go out and play and enjoy the cooler weather for once.

Beach trip at Refugio beach july/aug 2008

We spent a couple of days at the beach this year with family and friends. We wish we could have spent more but Kayla started school. We have a great time. The kids splashed in the water, caught a ton of sand crabs, buried Daddy in the sand and just enjoyed being outside and getting really dirty ! We plan on going next year to spent more time. The really nice thing was the beach was very close to our campsite and they had great clean bathrooms and showers! (mommy's favorite)
